To Go: collaboration with Beth Lo, Ceramic Artist
To Go is an examination of a a life of impermanence. It nods to the eternal move-in/out. The Chinese Food eaten on the floor of an apartment as we arrive somewhere new or leave someplace we have lived. The sharing of food over a table is an important ritual. the Chinese food containers are hand painted porcelain (by Beth Lo), and the table folds into its own cardboard box to house the dinnerware. This work was purchased for the permanent collection by the Museum of Fine Arts, Boston, in 2022.
